I am continually getting messages regarding my favorite Boston beauty and wellness spots, so I decided to do a special post featuring all my favorites.
SPRAY TANNING
As a health and wellness advocate, I don’t believe in tanning beds. I am a huge supporter of spray tans because they do not provide any UV rays. I love Aglow Airbrush Tanning because they are vegan, paraben free, fragrance free, alcohol free, oil free, hypoallergenic and dermatologist recommended. They are a major #girlboss company that only uses safe ingredients, so I am a big supporter.
This is the only place I will get spray tans done because they airbrush it on me and make sure that it is perfect and without streaks every single time.
What to know before you go: Shower, exfoliate and shave before you go. I usually sleep overnight with my tan on and then shower the next morning to get the best effect.

EVERYDAY NAILS
MiniLuxe
I usually do my own nails at home to save money but for big events like College Fashion Week, vacations and weddings I like to go to MiniLuxe to get a professional manicure. Their manicures usually last 1.5 weeks on me and I love that they have a nontoxic nail polish option: Zoya.
My favorite color pallets include all pinks, lilacs and nudes.

HAIR
Gosh, I love this place. Jen, the owner, is the most incredible soul. She is so knowledgeable about hair, haircare and hair trends. She has helped me through a very bad cut and color and I will forever be grateful for that. Jen and I have very similar interests and I love that she sells essential oils and body butters that she makes herself. Check out this post for some of the tips she taught me.

SPA
Bella Santé
I love a good spa day and one of my favorite #treatyoself things is to get a facial. I love getting a massage but usually tend to lean towards facials more because I just love skincare so much. I highly recommend their signature facial because it is fabulous and I always leave feeling like a Rockstar.
Tip: Nicole at the Lexington location is incredible. I book my facials with her every single time. If you get her, let her know that Style by Liv sent you! She has the BEST recommendations for products and is so knowledgable about skincare. I basically re-vamp my entire skincare routine when I see her based on her knowledge.

WELLNESS
Inner Space Meditation Studio
I absolutely love this place. It is a free meditation studio in Harvard square. They have guided meditations, meditation drop in hours and lots of events. I used to go during my lunch break at work and it was the perfect way to de-stress during a busy shift. If you are new to meditation, or even advanced, I would highly recommend stopping by and trying a session because it is free and the staff is so knowledgeable about all different types of resources for meditation.

I absolutely love float. This is such a cool place because it is a very meditative experience. Basically, you get into a tub filled with enough salt to mimic the dead sea, then you float in silence and darkness. All of your senses are deprived and you are left to your own devices in your head. For me, in the beginning it was really hard to meditate but once I got used to the experience it was a very relaxing thing. I did a full review here.
What to know before you go: do NOT shave before because all the salt will make you burn.
